2. Description of Service

ToolStand provides free, browser-based tools for general use — including but not limited to QR code generation, spirit level, pomodoro timer, metronome, decibel meter, and decision wheel. All tools are provided "as is" without registration or payment.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the tools for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to compromise site security, or to interfere with the operation of the site through automated means that degrade service for others.

4. No Warranty

All tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use the tools at your own discretion and risk.

5. Tool Limitations

Our tools are built with reasonable care but have inherent limitations:

  • The decibel meter uses your device's microphone and provides approximate readings — it is not a calibrated professional instrument.
  • The spirit level relies on your device's accelerometer sensors, which vary in accuracy across devices.
  • The metronome timing depends on browser performance and may drift under heavy system load.
  • QR codes are generated client-side; verify critical codes before distribution.
  • All tools require a modern browser; older browsers may not be supported.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolStand and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Intellectual Property

The ToolStand name, logo, site design, and original tool code are the property of ToolStand. Content generated by tools (such as QR codes) belongs to you. Do not reproduce or republish the tools themselves without permission.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.
